This study presents a Systematic Literature Review that analyzes academic articles and conference proceedings addressing the academic leadership of women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Through the survey of studies in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, we identified ten categorizations on the academic leadership of women in STEM. Based on these conceptualizations, it was possible to define aspects for this leadership model, namely administrative, scientific, and cultural. Such aspects are considered relevant to promoting gender equity and inclusion in academic STEM leadership.
