Events
In this section, you will find information about the main events organized by the ELLAS project. These initiatives play a fundamental role in promoting gender equity in STEM leadership (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) in Latin America.
Our events bring together researchers, professionals, students, and leaders committed to building a more inclusive and diverse environment. Here, you can learn about and participate in WELLAS and the ELLAS Forum, two key initiatives that strengthen the community and expand the project’s impact.
WELLAS
The Workshop “Equality in Leadership for Latin American STEM” (WELLAS) was an essential event in the development of the ELLAS Open Data Platform. During its editions, it gathered participants from Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru to share research, discuss challenges, and present advances in gender equity in STEM.
With lectures from international experts, thematic panels, and moments of collaboration, WELLAS helped establish a space for exchange and strengthening female leadership in STEM.
ELLAS Forum
The ELLAS Forum will be a dynamic space for sharing experiences and discussing gender equity in STEM. During the event, we will hold ELLAS Talk, where participants will share initiatives, policies, and challenges in the pursuit of greater inclusion and diversity in the field.
Additionally, the Forum will mark the official launch of the ELLAS Open Data Platform, establishing an essential space for research and gender equity policies in Latin America.
