Professors Cristiano Maciel and Eunice Nunes met with UFMT’s Rector, Professor Marluce Souza e Silva, to showcase the progress of the ELLAS project – an initiative aimed at strengthening female leadership in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
The meeting was marked by an enriching exchange of ideas, further reinforcing the university’s commitment to promoting equal opportunities for all women. During the discussion, the professors also extended an invitation to the Rector to participate in the ELLAS Forum 2025, an event dedicated to those who believe in transformation through education and innovation.
The Forum will serve as a showcase to consolidate all actions developed by the project, with special emphasis on the ELLAS Open Data Platform, an innovative open data platform. The project involves seven universities across Brazil, Bolivia, and Peru and is funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada.
